There's a version of this that says pray hard enough and the weight gets taken off you.

That's not this one.

Look at the back. Wings at the top. Thorns running the whole length below them. The lift and the cost on the same piece — because anything that ever carried you cost somebody something first.

Faith doesn't delete the load. It gets underneath it.

It's printed down the spine on purpose. That's the part of you that holds when everything else is asking you to set it down. The mornings you got up anyway. The bills, the diagnosis, the season nobody knew you were in. You didn't get carried around it. You got carried through it.

The anvil sits small on the front, where only you know it's there. The cross goes on the back, where you'll never see it — but everyone behind you will.

That's the right order.

Carry what you've been given. Get under it. Keep standing.
